It just sucks, I know there are worse things to be diagnosed with and technology is improving all the time. The infected have begun to overtake France which strongly implies that they will spread out through Europe and Asia and Africa The fate of the children is al Continue Reading 11 2 Jaime H. London has been destroyed thanks to the outbreak of the Virus and firebombing. I’m eating the same thing every day to try to see what my numbers do as an experiment. The ending of 28 Weeks Later is incredibly bleak and depressing. Right now I have 30 units long acting in the morning, 10 at night, and 4 units for food per carb choice (15 grams). Also the darn Libre keeps telling me I’m lower than my finger sticks (plus I got woken up and tricked into eating a snack due to a compression low alarm the first night). It’s scary because I feel like they want it really low and tight, but I know lows are more dangerous. They have me set up with a freestyle Libre 2, insulin pens, a goal of <140 an hour after eating and <95 when I wake up. It’s just overwhelming to get this diagnosis and I know it’s going to take time to figure out my numbers especially since it’s a moving target with pregnancy. They won’t know for sure unless some test comes back positive or after 6 weeks postpartum. They are almost sure it is T1 as gestational and T2 don’t normally cause DKA or numbers that high, plus my brother and grandpa have/had T1. Baby is completely fine and on track but my a1c is 9.4 which is obviously bad. Within hours of getting the insulin drip, I felt so much better- but they had to hold me until Tuesday for diabetes education etc. When they tried to read my blood sugar it was so high the machine couldn’t read it so they rushed it off for testing and I headed off to work.Ī couple hours later I get the call to immediately go to the ER as my number was 550 and I was in DKA. But the one thing I LOVE was the beginning. Where 28 days later was more of a thinking movie, 28 weeks later was more of an action movie (imo, of course). For me it illustrated that no matter how much control we put in place, it only takes one event for a system to weaken. I’ve also lost quite a bit of my body fat and muscle but I figured that was due to nausea in the first trimester. 28 weeks later provides more of a political undertow to the story line. Otherwise bad pacing, horrible plot, worthless kids, a million nonsensical choices, and a seriously flat ending just made me feel like I wasted my time and really my enthusiasm. I thought my unbearable headaches and fatigue were from covid hanging around, and my dry mouth was from mouth breathing. However, if you cut 28 Weeks Later off as soon as Robert Carlyle gets away in the boat, you have probably the best horror short of all time. I had been feeling like crap for the last couple of weeks, but I had covid 5 weeks ago, and then some kind of sinus infection with horrible headaches right after. BOYLE ALSO MADE HIS MARK ON THE PLOT.On Friday I went into my normal 28 week appointment and had my gestational diabetes test (drink 50g carb drink, test 1 he later). He directed second unit footage of the opening scene. In addition to his producing role, Boyle did step behind the camera-at least momentarily. He did, however, serve as one of the film's executive producers. Instead of returning to the director’s seat to follow up his 2002 film 28 Days Later, Danny Boyle directed 2007’s Sunshine. Titled 29 Days Later, the original sequel told the story of British marines attempting to rescue the Prime Minister and the Queen of England. THE ORIGINAL STORY FOR THE SEQUEL WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. To celebrate the sequel's tenth anniversary, here are 15 things you might not have known about 28 Weeks Later. Five years after Danny Boyle scared the hell out of audiences with 28 Days Later, his post-apocalyptic horror film, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo continued the story with 28 Weeks Later, which saw military forces attempting to secure a small "safe zone" for survivors in London while zombies raged all around them.
